Below are the answers to the most common author and submission questions regarding the CME conference.
Registration
- What is the registration deadline for presenting authors?
- Presenting authors register by 31 July 2026, which is also the early bird deadline, at https://cme.its.ucdavis.edu/.
- Is there a virtual participation option? Can I "Zoom" in?
- The conference takes place fully in person in Ghent on 15 and 16 September 2026. There is no hybrid or virtual option.
- I registered but did not receive a confirmation.
- Two automated messages are sent to the address used at registration, one at registration and one once payment has been received. Check your spam folder, and note that if a colleague or travel office registered on your behalf, the messages went to the address they entered. If you still cannot find them, write to [email protected] with your full name and the address used.
- I need to change my registration.
- Registrations cannot be modified online once submitted. Write to [email protected] with your full name and what needs to change.
Presentations and Posters
- What format should my presentation be in?
- Every accepted contribution is presented in a poster session. A selected number of authors are additionally invited to speak in a panel; those authors are contacted directly by the session leads.
- What size should my presentation poster be?
- A0 portrait, 84.1 x 118.9 cm (width x height). Poster boards for mounting are provided at the venue.
- When will I know my session time?
- The detailed programme and session times are published in the weeks before the conference.
Visa and other Support
- I need a Visa support letter.
